How the restock calculation works

Quantity to buy = max(0, weekly usage × coverage weeks − current stock). Weeks remaining = current stock ÷ weekly usage. Zero usage gives no depletion estimate and a purchase quantity of zero.

Example: 5 rolls in stock, 3 rolls used each week and 4 weeks of desired coverage means buying 7 rolls. Your existing stock lasts about 1.67 weeks. If you already have enough, the purchase quantity is zero.

Use rolls with rolls, litres with litres, or kilograms with kilograms. For liquids or bulk goods, turn off whole-unit rounding: stock 0.5 litres, usage 0.75 litres per week and 2 weeks of coverage means buying 1 litre. Pack sizes are not converted automatically.

This is a planning estimate based on steady average usage. It does not sync inventory, predict expiry, place orders or guarantee that supplies will last. Adjust for guests, travel and changing routines. CSV headings are in English.
