Introduction

HouseifyNow processes personal data to provide account access and shared household features. This policy describes the information used by the service and how to contact us about your data.

Data We Collect

We collect account identifiers and profile details such as name and email, authentication and session records, device and diagnostic information, purchase and entitlement records, and household activity data including cleaning tasks, chores, shopping lists, supply levels, laundry loads, calendar events, notifications, achievements, and audit history.

Household Data

Activity within a household is shared among all members of that household. Household owners control membership. Data is isolated between different households.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to provide the HouseifyNow service, including task management, notifications, gamification scoring, and billing. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Analytics

Where enabled on the website, cookieless Umami analytics starts after you accept analytics and helps us understand product usage. Campaign attribution can be stored locally with that consent. Mobile production builds omit this web analytics integration and the website Sentry integration. Service-side operational records remain separate from these website integrations.

Data Sharing

We share relevant data with service providers as needed for hosting and infrastructure, authentication and optional Apple or Google sign-in, transactional email, payments, observability and product operation. Stripe handles web payments; Apple or Google handles purchases through its app store, with RevenueCat processing mobile purchase and entitlement records. The providers used depend on the features and purchase channel you use. We do not sell personal data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and port your personal data. You may also object to processing. To exercise these rights, email contact@houseifynow.com.

Data Retention

We retain account and product data while the account is active. Account deletion removes the account identity, memberships, personal records and households you own with their content. Shared tasks, lists and calendar content in households owned by someone else remain; assignment and creator references to your account are cleared where applicable. Information copied by other members and records held independently by payment processors or app stores are not erased by deleting your HouseifyNow account. Records required for legal, accounting, security or fraud-prevention obligations may be retained for the applicable required period. Contact us about personal information that remains in shared content.
