What we do and do not claim

This page does not publish user numbers, revenue, rankings or awards. Please do not describe HouseifyNow as the most popular or best-rated household app.

We have not published a customer story yet. A story will appear only with a real household’s evidence and their approval of every quote and image.

Household case-study template

Future household stories follow this template. Each section names the evidence it needs, so a story can be checked rather than embellished.

Household: the type of home and number of people, without names unless the participants choose to be named.

Starting point: how the work was shared before, in the household’s own words.

Setup: which HouseifyNow features or free tools they used, and for how long.

What changed: observations the household can support, such as a schedule they kept using. No invented percentages.

Limits: what did not work or still needed a conversation.

Permission: the date each participant approved the final text, quotes and images.

Illustrative example: a three-person flat share

This household is synthetic. It shows how the template works and is not a customer, a quote or a measured result.

Household and starting point: three adults share a flat; here they are called Maya, Jon and Priya. Cleaning happened in a weekend catch-up, and the same person kept noticing the bins.

Setup: they open the free cleaning schedule builder, keep the six starter tasks and their estimates, and enter three names. The plan totals 190 estimated minutes a week: a 10-minute kitchen reset and a 5-minute tidy each day, plus bins, bathroom, floors and bedding.

What the builder shows: for the week starting October 26, 2026, the split is 65, 65 and 60 estimated minutes. The pattern rotates each calendar week, so over three weeks each person holds the 60-minute pattern once and everyone reaches 190 minutes.

Limits: estimated minutes do not capture noticing, buying supplies or different availability. In this example the household agrees who checks bin day and reviews the plan after the first week, as the weekly cleaning guide suggests.

Product note: balancing estimated minutes, not task counts

The free cleaning schedule builder balances estimated minutes rather than the number of tasks, because a 5-minute tidy and a 30-minute floor job each count as one task. It places longer jobs first, gives each to the person with the lowest estimated weekly total, then rotates the whole pattern every calendar week.

This is a simple heuristic, not an optimal split, and it assumes equal availability; the tool says so beside every schedule. Automated tests cover both worked examples, so the published 95 and 95 and 65, 65 and 60 splits stay true if the builder changes.
