Weekly meal planner and grocery list
Put your own meals on the menu. Add ingredients for each day, then organize one shopping list before you head out.
Your worksheet stays in this tab’s memory. Nothing you enter is saved or sent. Download or print before leaving or reloading.
Your seven-day menu
Blank days are fine. Add as many ingredients as you need. Use a dot for decimals (up to six places); quantities must be greater than zero and no more than 999999. Leave the unit empty to count items.
Your grocery list
Edit list names and shopping groups here. Pantry amounts use the same unit and reduce only what you need to buy. Changes appear as you type.
Add an ingredient name and quantity to start your grocery list.
From meal choices to a shopping list
Start with meals your household already wants to eat. Enter ingredients in the amount needed for each meal, rather than pack sizes. The worksheet combines names and units after ignoring case, surrounding spaces and repeated spaces. It never guesses conversions or recipe quantities: rice in g and rice in bags stay separate. Distinct names such as brown rice and white rice stay separate too.
A rice example
Monday’s curry needs 500 g rice and Thursday’s stir-fry needs another 500 g. Together they need 1000 g. If you already have 250 g, enter that pantry amount and buy 750 g. A separate 1 bag rice row remains its own entry. Pantry deductions stop at zero; extra pantry stock never creates a negative shopping amount.
Keep a practical copy
Choose shopping groups to arrange the list your way. A list-name edit changes the grocery entry, while original meal ingredients remain intact. If you change a source ingredient name or unit, it becomes a new matching pair; check its pantry amount and group again. Print includes the seven-day menu and grocery totals. CSV includes every day, original input rows and grouped list values, with quotes and spreadsheet-formula protection. CSV column headings use English. This worksheet does not import files or save a pantry.
